The ANU Australia Studies Institute (AuSI) has partnered with FASIC on the Australian Studies in China Online Resource (ASCOR) project which has been funded by a small grant from The Australian Embassy Beijing. The project also includes two Chinese partners: Beijing Foreign Studies U and East China Normal U (in Shanghai). The project includes about six podcasts (audio only) produced by FASIC with a focus on Australian Literature. The format is a 30 minute interview between Professor Pookong Kee and a well-known Australian author. They've been recorded monthly from July-December. FASIC have created, recorded, produced the content (an audio file). They've engaged a third party to do the tech/production side of things. The goal is to create an online academic resource of podcasts which can be used across the Australian Studies Network in China for teaching and research.
